Envision 9410e monitor only display for a second
The monitor looks almost black but when select/auto button is pushed it will display for only a second.
What things can I look at.
I have read other posts that suggest replacing the capacitors, what are these?
I have been gone for 4 days and there was a power surge, I had turned off my computer but apparently forgot my monitor. Could this cause my problem? If so, I must need a better surge protector!

Hi...there,
It's seems you got unlucky...your backlight inverter got burnt...Need to replaced a new one or repaired it. Caps it a fuse look like a tiny battery that power the backlight...
