My issue has been resolved, I ended up buying a AdjProg for the epson XP 520 series on ebay. Step 3 - Function with the CD tray
If the CD tray is in the expulsion spot, then ensure that the CD tray button is pressed to move it back to its place of storage. Do not move the CD tray to a different position or even carry it in. Be careful with the tray.
