Simply matter of loading the format tool from the sandisk website , just hunt around a bit you'll find it.
or you can simply do a right click format of the drive
fat16 or fat32 only , not NTFS
which may not remove the UDF reader CDROM Emulation files on first go. you might have to do it twice ... or keep windows from attempting to reload the sandisk software.
the format tool from their site will work best on first run.
then you can do right click format on it after that with no problem.
also make absolutely sure you have your USB ports turned on in the bios and that they have an IRQ , normaly IRQ 11 will be givin to the USB ports. sometimes we think they are enabled but check to make sure.
use the primary USB ports if possible , because sometimes the secondary ports get turned off by accident and we are left wondering why our flash drives are not working.
or if you are not trying to be a hardware monkey like me with a sick zionistic fedish obesssion who wants total control of all hardware , you can simply right click on any file thats on the drive and delete it , provided it's a user file.
and remember if it's not hebrew , it's a lie :-> shalom
Just plug it in to your computer. After it loads and see's it as a mass storage device. Right click on My Computer and click Explore. Click the lettered drive on the left frame for Mass Storage or USB Drive and all the files will show up on the right frame. Delete the ones you want. Highlight all with mouse and click delete to remove them all. Optionally you can Right Click on the drive letter and format. I prefer to just use the delete key. James Mac
