That means that the computer is waiting for a signal from the drain valve. IT is not getting a signal. It could be that the drain is stuck or a connection has come loose or it is burned out. To clear the error try and unplug the unit. IF you are not able to do that then find the circuit that it is on and turn it off at the breaker. Wait a minute and turn it on. See what happens.
What you need to do is flush the water out of the drain hose. There is something in the line that is causing a debris jam in the drain hose vale to the dishwasher. What I would do is:
1. Unhook the drain hose from the sink side of the dishwasher.
2. Drain it by hooking a wet dry vancuum to it and **** any of the water and debris out of it.
3. Reconnect and test.
4. If you get the same error, then you need to backflush the unit. Same procedure except instead of vacuum, you are going to hook water line to the drain and force water back through the drain valve atttempting to flush it out. The error code of 01 is due to a moisture sensor that is under the unit and it has sensed water in a tray that catches leaks. IT is possible that the water has shorted out the valve that drains the unit. IF this is the case then you need to remove the toe kick panel under the door and check to see if there is water present. Dry out the entire area under there including any trays that catch water. Check to be sure that the power is off before you do this. TIghten all the clamps that are visible and you should be golden. The error code of 01 is due to a moisture sensor that is under the unit and it has sensed water in a tray that catches leaks. Hi,
You must have a loop of drain hose higher than the water level in the tub or the water just drains out.
