Check your waste toner box. At the side of the printer is a container for the extra toner to be stored. Everytime you change your cartridge you need to change the waste toner container. Carefully open side panel and remove waste toner bottle. There is a button you need to push do not force the bottle out. Remove lid of new waste toner bottle and put into place and close side panel. Follow link for further details or use your setup guide that came with the printer on how to install the waste toner bottle. http://usa.kyoceramita.com/americas/jsp/upload/resource/15865/0/2000D-3900D-4000DMLIIR1.1.pdf
There is one more think that I can stongly advise you. You should clean the spot with an wet handkerchief. Try to push the button where you put the top of your waste tonerbox, and wipe it. It was useful for me, and sloved the same problem. By the way tehere is one more think. There is an gray button. Try to make it totally vertical!
