It also touches on the possibility that if the unit was converted from NG to PP or vice-versa that the orifices are not correct. We use the heater for two years now and was working perfectly, actually was working fine on Saturday and the error message came Sunday. Could gas pressure or supply volume chang by itself one day by the other. Any other possible reason. We use the heater for two years now and was working perfectly, actually was working fine on Saturday and the error message came Sunday. It can if the problem is actually the gas line itself...rare but they do fail. A manometer would confirm inlet gas pressures to rule that out. Orrafices can become blocked; spiders like nesting in heaters and one or more may have blocked off gas ports causing the error. If you are not able to test these items a service call from a local pool heater technician should be able to resolve the matter in an hour or so...not sure what the going rate is in your area but here that would run about $100. Depending on what was discovered there may be a part needed which would be in addition to that labor fee.
