Hello, My name is Bill. I just received as a gift {are you smarter than a 5th grader- make the grade)

My Pc is a dell studio 17
windows vista sp2
graphics 1440x900 pixels
32 bit
processor (Intel Core 2 Duo)

Ram 4 GB

2 Problems encountered;

After installing and receiving the prompt that the software was successfully I then clicked on the ICON and a dialogue box opened with the following text: :Failed to find appropriate format

I then closed that dialogue box and another one opened displaying the following text: The Direct X Device could not create a 640x480 bit window. Make sure your device is set up correctly.

I checked my display and in is 1440x900

I then uninstalled the program.

verified that my virus protection and firewall was disabled and re-installed the program.

the results were the same problems.

I then repeated this procedure 3 more times and every time the failure was identical.
