Estate Dryer 840 jq2 takes forever to dry our clothes
We love our Estate Dryer. It's about 4 yrs old. Recently, it takes about an hour and a half to dry our clothes. We've done all the usual things, cleaned the vent, blown the vent tube up thru the roof, taken the back off to see if the heating element heats, cleaned out the lint trap......don't know what else to try. We don't know whether it's worth calling in a repair person or just getting a new dryer.
Is the heating element supposed to cycle off and on or is it supposed to stay on the whole time?
Anything you can suggest we try is well appreciated.
Thanks.

The heating element usually stays on while drying it is possible the thermal device that turns on and off the element might be working incorrectly and turning the element off too soon
Is outlet holding plug good and tight (assuming this is electric as you say heating element). I cannot see your repyl due to some tech issue w/ the site, so it may be a day or so before I can reply again. Please leave feedback for me if appropriate. Thanks
