If the serial number is seen in the soundhole it is a 1938 model, if on the headstock (the more modern practice) a 1962- 1964 (no closer records were kept for those years).
Depending on condition Reverb.com values the 1938 model at about US$16000 and the 1963 model at US$9500 - $13500.
For a guitar of that value I would get a professional appraisal certificate. Gruhn's does this from photos for a fee
