Eureka Boss 4870gz shuts off (thermal protector) after 2 or 3 min
I have checked for any plugged areas, changed the bag and have run the vac without the filter and it still shuts off. Is it possible that the motor is bad or that the thermistat needs repaced or ??????

Wiggle the cord while running the vac. if it cuts off from that, then you most likely have a bad switch or cord. if the motor was bad, you would smell it. it smells aweful.
