Turns sideways? The camera??? Try not pressing any buttons during loading, if that doesnt help try pressing the opposite button during load. If that doesnt help reinstall the game.

Try pressing properties and that is by right clicking on the launcher.change it capacity to what ever you want,then let it run on windows 98.
I am a fan of battle for troy and that trick worked at my version.
