ExpertsLoungeThreadView.aspx?thid=580415 Heres the problem: I recently noticed that my 2nd pcie card in sli isnt working anymore. I get no picture from the 2nd card when I try it alone in the pc on both pcie slots, the other card works perfectly on both slots. I suspect the bios on the 2nd card is corrupt, I don't have a speaker on my motherboard so I cant hear if there is a error code for bad vga. the pc doesnt post with the 2nd card. So far I've successfully extracted the bios from the working card. I want to try flashing the 2nd card with the bios, as they both are the same brand and model. I havent been able to get my system to detect the 2nd card at all, in dos when I used nvflash v5 it reports no nvidia cards in the system, possibly becouse its desinged for series 7 and down. In the first post you can see Ive offered to pay for a solution, 5usd. like a premium eh :)

I guess the card is just dead, Ekse. There's no point tying to flash it if its not working or getting detected in the first place!
Had a similar problem with a DDR Ram I had, no burning smell, not heating up, looked perfectly normal, except that it was kaput.
The best suggestion I can give is to try it on another machine with an Express slot. If it doesnt work there either, adios amigo to the card. However, if it works there, there could be an issue with your motherboard, and not the card. (But I suppose you knew this already!) If it does work in the other PC, you could try flashing the BIOS there with the latest version of nvflash..
I did see the post in the lounge, but as this is not really my area of expertise, I didnt bother answering (even for $5 hehe).
I know..but what to do? Just find a proper burial site :)
Yup, eBay is THE best burial site, LOL!
