External Hard Drive with password protected only works on 1 PC
Do you know how to make the Buffalo External Hard Drive with password protected feature works on all other computers?
I was able to install the password protected feature on the Buffalo External Hard Drive HD-CEU2 (poorly written owner manaul on the Secure Lock Ware software); however, the hard drive only can be use on one computer (has to assign a drive "i.e. F" for the password protected hard drive). The Buffalo Tech Support said that the Secure Lock Ware software is licnesed to only one computer. This statement appears to be wrong becuase I was able to install (download from www.buffalo.com for free) Secure Lock Ware software to my other computer. My other computer can see the hard drive in Disk Management without any assigned drive. It will not let me assign a drive to the hard drive on my other computer.
