External HDD can not be used
I connect my baffalo 1 TB external HDD. It appears for a moment in the explorer, but after that a warning comes saying, you need to formate the disk. right after that, the disk diappears from the explorer. plz tell me how to fix this??

Click on the Start Button and right click on Computer and select Manage; expand the Storage section and select Disk Management; click your external hard disk, right click on it and select format; when you will be asked what file system you want to be used select the default option - NTFS; Apply, OK.
In that case the format must be done without the OS - either usehttp://www.partition-tool.com/
or do it from a Linux Live-CD.
