F7 LCD TV will not turn on
This TV will not power on. No lights at all. After plugging into the wall with the back cover off I can hear the power supply board spinning up and shutting down over and over again. Assuming the Power Supply was shot, I replaced it only to find the new one was doing the same thing. I then figured the main board must be the issue so I replaced that only to see the problem continue. During that replacement I discovered by sheer luck that if I unplug the data ribbon which connects to the main board from the IR sensor while the TV is plugged in, the power board will power up and I no longer hear the spinning up and shutting down cycle. I then plug the data cable back into the main board. I then push the power button and the TV turns on. However the remote doesn't work. I then power the TV off and the power board goes back into the spin up cycle again and the tv will not turn on. After this, I thought for sure the IR sensor on the TV must be bad, so I replaced that....and guess what? the problem continues. I am running out of things to replace. what exactly is the issue here?
