False early signal indicates lower bobin empty when in-fact it still full contains adequate thread
Have a 1000 that has a persistent problem of indicating the lower bobbin being empty when in-fact it is still loaded with thread. Had it serviced with a change of what I suppose is the infrared sensor, nothing improved. Can anyone help

Have you already performed a software/firmware update? If not, I suggests you to try it first.

It could be that once you had the sensor replaced that the fault was not reset in the machine. it could also be a loose connection. my suggestion would be to take the access covers off and remove all the dust as much as you can, then looke for the lose connection where the sensor was installed. look to see where the bobbin is seated make sure that it is seated like it should and that there is no dust in that area.. if this doesn't solve the issue it is a glitch in the circuit and needs to be serviced to resolve the issue....please rate this.....thanks
If the sensor had been replaced already, it can onle be either a problem with the locic board or a mechanic fault.
Is the machine still under Guaranty?
I know that sending back the machine for repairs again is annoying, but the usual cause for this problem is the sensor, if the sensor had just been replaced and is not working, it can be as result of a bad assemblyof the sensor on the machine, because the sensor is not well in place, or because the sensor has blown again, in this case there is a short or bad voltage on circuits powering the sensor.
Therefore you need to send the machine back to inspect the sensor again, and see if anything concerning the last repair has gone wrong .
If the sensor is ok it can be a problem with machine logic board, in this case check if machine is still under guaranty.
