As you READ the owners manual below you will see that there is options to run a fan continuously as Well as an option for AIR CONDITIONING.
You will need to check the position of these switches to get the function(s) duh-sired... (sic: The word d3sire is considered as profanity on Fixya. Please review your answer and try again...
(my... how intellectually challenged can we get?? (TRULY SIC)).
I have an OLDER version (1F60-22) thermostat .. and have found
that NEW BATTERIES sometimes helps it to perform better.
Your instructions show your batteries as optional... so that might not be your issue... but at the very least I would set the WANTED temperature in HEAT mode... THEN Push HOLD.
Always take USEABLE pictures ...
so you can get wires EXACTLY back the way they were!!
If the FAN still runs CONTINUOSLY ... I would open the RED/WHITE (heater loop... which SHOULD stop the CONTUNUOUS operation (and point to the thermostat as the problem)).
there is also a temperature switch INSIDE your heater that also must operate (and release) for proper function... (assuming it previously worked... all wires are properly fitted & secure... and what-ever is happening NOW is a NEW malfunction).
BUT without the MAKE & MODEL of your HEATER ...
it would be IMPOSSIBLE to say the cost of that device.
Good luck & happy hunting
