Fan motor keeps running on Dell Inspiron 530s Desktop
When trying to get out of blank screen saver and sleep mode, computer fan keeps running and nothing happens. Have to hard boot to shut down computer. I've disabled blank screen saver and power/sleep mode settings & all seems fine. Right now I am shutting computer monitor off manually. Is there some setting I need to change and/or do I need a new fan motor? Thank you.

I'd replace the fan motor.
Check and see well you have conected it to the fan system or fan chassis all main bords comes with these two connectors coment
