Fan outside is running and this attic unit is pushing air. How can I tell if the compressor is running? Is there another filter is there a reset switch?

The only way sometimes to tell for sure if the compressor is running, is to place an amp. meter on the wires going to the compressor and checking the power draw...
You can usually hear it along with the condenser fan, but not always...
Find an electrician with a meter and check it that way...
