Fan won't reverse though it has before
We bought and installed the Hampton Bay 68 in Altura fan last year. It's worked great- reversed in winter and wonderful in summer. This year, we have tried to reverse the fan for summer but it only speeds up when we hit reverse. Any ideas?

It could be 1 of 3 things. 1) Receiver unit, 2) Sender (Remote), 3) Motor. For my brand new ceiling fan it turned out it was the motor.
