Unhook your battery cable for ten minutes.Reconnect it and let the car idle for five minutes, then drive it normally and it might relearn to idle again at correct speed. This is just something I would try,as it can prove to be a very simple fix. don-ohio (:^)
Barbara, I talked to a coupla' mechanics I know, and they think I'm probably wrong on this. They say it is more likely that whoever changed the plugs displaced or broke a vacuum line OR that the air intake hose has been imperfectly replaced after someone removed it to replace the spark plugs. Let me know what you find out? don-ohio (:^)Barbara, I talked to a coupla' mechanics I know, and they think I'm probably wrong on this. They say it is more likely that whoever changed the plugs displaced or broke a vacuum line OR that the air intake hose has been imperfectly replaced after someone removed it to replace the spark plugs.
