Hi, The problem is probably in the floating valve that is located under the spout. This valve floats up and into the base of the faucet when you push the handle on the sprayer to use it. This redirects the water to the sprayer. They get stuck and then don't close off the spout properly Short of teraring the faucet clean apart they are almost impossible to fix. Turning the water off and disconnecting the supply hoses, then blowing air back through the faucet spout may dislodge whatever is in there. This has worked for me in the past... and it has not work also... May be worth a try..
