fender and now when I drive going over 45mph, the SLIP light comes on and feels like the car locks for a sec. Can some one help. Took it to a mechanic and he said it might be the transmission or just a wheel alignment is needed

What do you mean by can locks, the slip system its prevent can
tyre from spining during hard acceleration, is system activated
unnecessary due to some problem the can will stop the power
to the engine, please check ABS wire going to this tire it may damaged or the sensor may damage during accident
