Fender Passport P-250
I have the Fender Passport P-250, I loaned it out and they told me they tried to run it with weak power (Approx. 30v A/C) without success. Now all I get is the red L.E.D. marked PROTECT on the front panel above the Power switch and nothing more. I checked the fuse It is ok. Is there anything else I can do to reset this unit?

Sorry about the delayed response, I just noticed this posting.
The protect indicates a problem with the output section of the amplifier. Effectively the amp has been shutdown to prevent further damage. Although the unit should not have been working (at least not well) at 30V, unless they htried to run it at full volume, there should not have been damage. The outputs are blown and this unit requires repair. If I remember these units correctly, there are 8 output transistors, most of which may require changing. WIthout seeing the unit and taking some measurements, I can not say for sure, but expect $40-$70 in parts.
