Finding an easy opening to run a cable from under the hood to the interior near steering column
I am installing a battery isolator kill switch that will attach to my negative battery post and i need to run a cable from there to the interior of my car near the steering column

Do you have any idea of the size or girth of the cable you are talking about? Fogit it!!!!!!!
If you are trying to make your vehicle more theft proof why not install a kill switch in the starter solenoid circuit? Or the wiring to the fuel pump? Or computer?
If your battery is being drained by an improperly working circuit, disconnect it from engine compartment until you isolate and repair the problem.
