Firefox isn't connecting to internet. Can I re-install and not lose bookmarks?
A solution offered was to un-install, reboot, and re-install. Does this
wipe out bookmarks, favorites, etc.?

No need to uninstall.
pls check u got intetnet proper.
type in run "ping yahoo.com -t"
then press enter then see in window if u get reply your internet is ok if u get "request time out "
your intrnet has problem.
check your windows fiirewall turn it off then try.
check u open site in inter net explorer.if it works then noissue with internet.
check your mozila settings security so high?
also check your anti virus not blok the sites and inrernet.
