Firelite external drive wont read all of new disk
I've had this external drive for a few years and recently upgraded the hard drive with a new 360GB, but only 128GB can be read. I've fished round on the internet and think this has something to do with PATA - which I cant get to grips with. Does this refer to the drive or the wiring in th enclosure, or is it a driver issue?

I had a 500 gb pata drive which was read just fine, it's possible that it was just the file system on the drive. if you still have it plug it back in go to disk mgmt and try to format the entire drive with fat32 or exfat, or even ntfs.
