First off, I have e-mailed and faxed White-Rodgers over the last week with no reply. I own the 1F94-371 Thermostat. A week ago, the display went blank. Looked like a battery issue, but I see no battery. I opened the unit and see what looks like a quarter size soldered piece that could be a battery. I just need to know if this is the battery, or do I need to replace the 2 year old unit. Thanks Steven [email protected]

First of all the thermostat that you have is hardwire powered. You need to check for the power coming in the thermostat which is the c- terminal. If that is confirmed reset the thermostat, reset button
located on the back of the thermostat body.
