Fisher & Paykel smart drive topload has lost power. It stopped half way through a cycle. Took the clothes out and tested the power point but it won't turn back on. There was a slight leak at times from the hot water tap which may have occasionally leaked into the back of the machine but I've only used the hot water a handful of times and it has otherwise run well over the years. Any ideas?
The small leak may have been enough to blow the fuse under the control panel. I had the same trouble with my F&P smartdrive 701. Take off the control panel by undoing 2 screws and you will see the blue plastic control box in the tray on the machine (not the other blue circuit board box under the push buttons). Open the control box (1 screw and click open) to see an ordinary fuse. Hopefully this is blown and the new fuse, a clean up of leaking water, and some plumber's thread tape on the hose connector to stop future leaks, and you should be up and running. Good luck.
