Fitted a vvc inlet manifold since then i can not get the revs to drop quick enough. have fitted new iacv still no good has any one got any ideas many thanks nick. this is on a k series 1999

Sounds like an air leak on the intake manifold. Spray some carb cleaner or WD40 around the intake with the engine running. When you hear the engine change sound you have found your leak.
