Fixing a leaking Krups XP2010
I bought xp2010 from second hand. Obviously this machine has never seen a descaling product. It leaks while making coffee. I called repair shop and they told me that just to look at the machine and find the problem will cost 80$ plus labor and parts (Chicago price). So I went and disassembled it myself. I found that one hose is loose and leaking because it is not tighten hard enough and water is escaping because of the high pressure. Metal tightener is not tight enough, zip tie will not work. I am guessing I have to seal it with some rubber (rubber washer/silicon/glue) from inside between a red hose and a black pipe and then use that metal fastener, right? Does anybody know what kind of product i can use? Some type of product that does not afraid of hot water, steam and pressure. Thank you in advance. I will add pics

I have only read the first bit but the problem is that were you have the coffee filter holder you also have a seal which you have to change
