Flip MIno HD won't record, says "Camcorder Full" when it's empty
My Flip Mino HD worked perfectly for about a year and a half, but after downloading my latest videos, it now won't record. It alternates between saying "camcorder full" when you press record, and then "camcorder empty" when you press play to see what is there. It won't allow you to delete any videos- because they were all erased the last time that I downloaded them.
Suggestions?
Thank you!!!

This is not good news. Chances are that there is an oxidized copper trace on a ribbon connector that is not allowing the memory to be read correctly. Over time, humidity can take it's toll on copper traces, and play havoc with signals. You can try to slightly hit the camera, to try to jar the ribbon connectors in the camera, getting them to make contact. Next step is to take it apart, and unhook the ribbon connectors, and maybe spray them with contact cleaner, then reconnect them. Aside from doing those things, my guess is that service would cost more than it's worth, and it would be better to invest in a new one. Good luck, and hope this helps!
Tom way to dive right into the hard stuff. If you open the files on the Flip you can clear some old videos and mine captures documents from my computer. Not sure why it copies the "My Documents" files but it does. Hope this helps
