Flux wire welder will spark but will not weld continuously
The wire will feed through and will initially spark but immediately stops and then it will spark again. The ground is fine. What is causing this?

Speed up the wire payout speed.
Clean the plate/sheet firtst then attach the earth ensure you have fitted the same size tip as the wire, check all the switches on the set that the are pointing for the conditions, If it is arc as well as TIG. there will be a little switch that you move for either TIG or stick welding .( could also give "LIFT TIG")
