Food processor model KP80B - I'm just wondering if the motor is frozen in place. I haven't had time to use it since my parents were ill and I had to be over at their place. After they passed on, I came back and tried using it and it wouldn't start. I bought it after watching a TV show. Any help will be much appreciated. Thelma Asato
If it does not start at all, then it is likely one part that had not been mounted properly.
If the blender or the tool used is not mounted in the proper way the processor will not start. Remove the tool and mount it back in place, possibly following the instructions if you have them.
If still no luck and you are sure the processor is mounted in the right way, then check if the power cord has a built in fuse, and test the unit on a different socket.
When the unit does not start it is usually because of assemblage problems.
