Ford escape cold start idle problems
Cold start its bad!, idles so low it thinks its off and makes breaks hard to press even driving to a stop sign.and giving gas it dont even register till its at 3rpms. stalls at stop signs or revs to much wants to keep going if im in park it just pulses almost makes ya motion sick. but when its warmed runs great REAlly warm. i have replaced so much and still a pos! please help just getting worse

Please state as much specific information as possible. What tests have you performed? What parts have you checked? What parts have you replaced? My first few guesses would be to have you check, test, and/or repair the seals on the plenum (the seals are located between the plenum and the head), the Idle Air Control Valve, and the Fuel Pressure Regulator. This problem is more complicated and will require a look at live data (A professional scan tool is needed) and component testing. You can try repairing it without it but it will take longer and you may replace a part that is actually fine. If you only have a "Code Reader" it may help. List all the engine codes that you have found. They may help narrow down your search. I want to help you with this but I need a lot more information. Please write back and I'll see what I can do. Clean fuel injectors with STP treatment (for fuel injectors) or HEET (for vehicles not the body rub to remove any possible water buildup (bad gas), clean or replace PCV valve; check / change spark plugs.
