Ford explorer alarm
Suddenly from night to day my remote is not working even after I've changed the battery to it. My remote is what i have to use to lock my doors, open liftgate, certain things in the truck dont work and I believe its due to this remote or alarm system needing to be reset. I've tried resetting it and nothing is happening. I want to check the fuses but Im not sure which one to check and the manual is not specific. Can anyone help? I have a 2003 ford explorer limited edition.

#1. IS IT AN AFTER MARKET REMOTE? IF SO...I HAVE SEEN NUMEROUS PROBLEMS RELATED TO NON FACTORY "ADD-ONS"
WITH A 12 VOLT TEST LIGHT, CHECK EVERY FUSE (BOTH SIDES FROM TOP) TO SEE IF ALL ARE PASSING POWER.
NOTE: SOME REQUIRE THAT KEY BE IN THE "ON" POSITION.
THIS INCLUDES THE INTERIOR FUSE BOX AND THE UNDER HOOD MAIN POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX (USUALLY ON OR NEAR LEFT FENDER AREA)
