Inside the transmissions lower trans pan upin removal you will see electronic solenoids mounted in there. The 3rd gear solenoid is at fault which neds to be replaced. That will get the trans to shift correctly again. Change the filter and fluid at the sam time as well The solenoid needs to be purchased at a ford parts department as well
