Ford Ranger 1994 - AC stopped working - AC system pressure way hi
AC does not work all of a sudden. Compressor belts tight but compressor does not appear to be turning on. Checked AC pressure and its way over normal. Not sure what that means. Original fuse map is gone so trying to figure out if a fuse blew, the compressor is shot, needs a recharge or a combination of ingredients. Any suggestions?

There is a low side pressure switch on the dryer, remove the plug in connector and use a wire to connect the two circuits together on the plug,if the ac compressor runs, and the ac cools fine, replace this switch,it just unscrews, and you will not loose any freon.
