Format error, and can't view playlists- I am on OSX 10.4.11. When I load mp3s onto the player, that have been imported into itunes (dragged them over via the Finder), I get two files for each song. The first is labeled track, 1-01 Song track and plays fine. The second one is labeled ._1-01 Song track and produces a format error. I have to manually skip by each track to the next chapter because it will not continually play, no matter what my 'repeat' settings are. I have about ten audiobooks, each with about 10 chapters, on this player. It will not show playlists. I have tested the individual folders under local folders, music, albums, and so on. It refuses to load a particular folder, and will also not 'repeat folder'). What this means is that after every single chapter, it shows a format error, and goes back to the original 1-01 Song track from the first book, leading me to manually skip through all ten tracks from that book (20 if you count the format error tracks), and then between 1-2 more books to get to the next chapter I want to read. The Freestyle Audio page appears to be down. I'm really ticked. Can anyone point me to a way to fix this? Thank you

I don't have a solution -- but I have the same problem and this is the first I've found mention of someone else having it. I'm Mac OS 10.6.5. I thought I could go through and just delete the second copies of everything, but I can't figure out how to do that either. They don't show up when it's plugged into the computer. And as far as I can tell, you have to be playing a song in order to delete it, and it can't play things in the wrong format. Beating my head against the wall and starting to look at buying something else... In case you found a solution elsewhere, please let me know!
