You need a larger drive, or less programs. windows uses 2.88 GB and likes 1 GB to swap in. Try going into control pannel and add/remove programs and on the left side of the screen there will be add remove windows components - to delete things you don't need. Games, MSN explorer, fax services, desktop wall paper, mouse pointers, paint etc. All of these will free up 50- 60 MB. Which isn't a lot, but its something. There are also ways to delete all the help files, and empty folders, duplicate files etc. The bottom line is a larger drive is required.
