Nick, anytime you run completely out of gas with a fuel pump that has a lot of age on it, sometimes it doesn't come back to life fully. Other times its OK and you just need to drive it a while just to get all the air out of the system. First, try driving it several miles to see if it clears up, if not. Here's what you need to do Nick. You'll need to check the fuel pressure to see if you are getting the proper amount, should be around 50 PSI. if it only has 20 or 30 psi, you'll need a new pump.
