I would go ahead and run a solution of 50% distilled white vinegar and 50% water through the machine. If the machine still runs slow after that, pour another 50/50 vinegar/water solution into there - let it run just enough so that the vinegar water starts to drip out, then cut the machine off. Let the vinegar/water sit in the machine for about 20 minutes. Then cut the machine on and let the rest of the solution run through. Then run plain water through the machine to clear out the vinegar. Try brewing a batch and see if the machine behaves normally.
If the above fails to resolve the issue, the FrancisFrancis machines are now owned by illy, so would need to contact them for further TS.
