Fr.and rear MIC and h-phones connectors work simultaneously?
Ok so I've got a Abit nf-7 Motherboard which has two front panel connectors marked as MIC and Headphones. It also has same connectors at the back panel and those two are currently working. So now...
What I'd like to do is to use them both. The back MIC connected to my camera, because this MIC is more sensitive and I don't have to stay close to it when I talk to someone...
...and I'd like to use front connectors for a regular headset for when I know I'm gonna be sitting right in front of my PC.
So the question is... Can I set it up in such a way that I could switch between them by changing "input" from "microphone1" to "microphone2" (because there are those two options available in the "nv mixer control panel".)?
(sorry for a chaotic form of my post, but you guys being a pros, most definitely will know what I have in mind right :D)

There may be an option in your audio dievice manager to treat "microphone jacks as seperate input sources. if your software does not support this, then you will have to get another soundgard
