Freezer only getting 48' and frig side is only at 49 degrees
Its a GE GSS25SGMD BS ..........
yes its been unplugged for 24 hrs and still the exact same problem exist ...No the coils arent dirty ,no it has not been laid on its side.,no no unusual sounds..the motor still purrs ...just not getting real cold..
Its aprox. 6 yrs old and my new renter left freezer door ajar for 2 nites in a row and now i have this problem..
just want to know if its worth fixing....Thanks

Take the back panel off and see if the fan is running and if not see if it has power to it if it does replace the fan and see if ur problem is solved the coil underneath the fan should not be frozen even if the fan is gone out this could be a sign that the lil black element that runs through the coil is gone out now if all this is good and still same problem ur probably gonna have a freon issue and unless u know how to charge one i advise u call a tech and if its only 6 years old yes it worth trying to fix
well if all this is operating correctly then u more than likely have a freon issue and unfortunately u may have to call a technician
