Is it true what Filter Queen says that if you do not replace the charcoal filters in 6 months in Defender, no only are the charcoal filters effective anymore, but that it is bad for the machines (vacuum or air purifier)? (I know that not changing every 6 mo cancels the warranty - we will take the risk) Or is this a scare tactic they use to get our business?
