Frequently, when printing a card, the ribbon gets stuck on top of the card and it goes under the exit roller, forcing the printer to stall. I then have to open the cover, remove the card, wind back the ribbon, and print the card over

1-Turn off printer,
2-Open the printer's front cover to access the printer's ribbon and printhead.
3-Spray the ribbon and printhead with short sprays of air from a can of compressed air to remove any ink, dust and dirt buildup from the components.
4-Use a flashlight to locate the printhead's adjustment lever. The lever is on the left side of the printhead.
5-Push the lever toward the ribbon. This will place the printhead closer to the ribbon so there will be less opportunity for the ribbon to stick or jam under the exit roller.
6-Close the printer's front cover. Turn on the printer.
7-Print a series of test labels.
8- Work with it a little and try other minor adjustments until the airspace between your print head better corresponds with the thickness of your card stock.
Clean print head and and guides thoroughly with alcohol and q-tip's to remove anything that might be sticky. Please advise if we can be of further service. TF
According to your problem, first check that you have put the card in the printer properly. These types of printers are very sensitive. It can make malfunction for a little wrong with card or also with bad quality card or printer.
Check the ribbon quality or change the ribbons which are not in good condition. Re prepare those ribbons in cartridge and then install the cartridge properly. Check the printer settings also and reboot it. Try this it will help you.
