Frigidaire Upright freezer the temp indicator light will go blank and the freezer will stop cooling. You can unplug unit wait a bit and plug back in and it will will work for a while

I would guess the control panel is failing, but due to the cost of the part have a technician come out and confirm that is the issue. You can also go to www.partsdirect.com and email the forum
