Suspect a bad drum bearing or bent drum bearing shaft. When you rotate the drum, look for movement of the drum up or down while turning. If the drum moves suddenly, suspect the drum bearing. If it slowly moves up or down during turning, suspect a bent shaft on the drum. In either case, it is a major teardown to remove the drum from the outer drum case. If still under warranty, take advantage! Hope this helps!
