Frozen cable 4 stering on motor side boat is a year old cable apears to be rusted solid mercury says cables should be lubracated but there is no way to do this .the manual does not state this prrcedure

There is a cable lubricator that looks like a syringe with a hose and clamp on it to attach to the cable. I have never used one but it looks like it would work well. As for the cable it is better to replace it than have it brake at the worse time.
