Fuel and temperature gauge both dropped while driving. Car continues to drive smoothly, however I cant tell when I need more gas or if the car is overheating. Any ideas about why this happened??

Both gauges get power from the same circuit as the warning lights. So it could be a problem with the printed circuit board on the cluster or something in the wiring harness connector.
